iLoome ScreenMate Max – Better designed than most
The ScreenMate Max is the only screen protector that we’ve come across that covers the curved edge of the iPhone and also is made from two types of materials. This unique feature ensures that the front of your iPhone is completely protected but poses problems for your iPhone in terms of fitting it into a case. If you want a screen protector that changes the look of your iPhone slightly, you should consider this screen protector.
For our iLoome ScreenMate Max review, we’ve given it a score of 4.3 Eh’s out of 5. This is one of the highest rated screen protectors that we’ve come across, beating out the Sir Lancelot and iLoome’s regular ScreenMate. Check out our comparison tool for all the details!

Design – Make your iPhone 6 stand out
In terms of design, the iLoome ScreenMate Max is made from two genera types of materials, with a tempered glass screen protector in the middle that’s surround by iLoome’s XAL-4CR alloy. This alloy is what gives the ScreenMate Max its unique look.
Re-applicability of the screen protector isn’t great as the alloy portion has a tendency to bend so when you remove it. Dust removal isn’t too bad and iLoome does include tools to help with the dust removal. Bubbling isn’t an issue with this screen protector as a day after the install, they go away.
The fit on this screen protector is the best. The curved edges of the Screenmate Max will literally cover the entire front of your iPhone. You will notice the edge on the side of the iPhone but the gaps are quite minimal. All the footage in the review video show pretty significant gaps but they only occurred after trying the screen protector with the dozens of cases that we have.
This screen protector provides you with the best user experience as you won’t really notice that you have another sheet of glass on top of your iPhone. However, the curved edges does pose a problem for the type of case that you can use. At the end of this review, we’ll list out the cases and guidelines to help you choose the right case with this tempered glass screen protector.
As a result of the curved edge and alloy blend, this screen protector will last longer. Tempered glass screen protectors usually crack during removal after being lightly nicked by sand paper but this iLoome didn’t. The curved edges also minimize the potential to chipping along the edges, which is an issue for some screen protectors.

That one I’m not sure. You’d have to check with iLoome to be sure.

I watched the video review and purchased this screen protector hoping to be able to use it with the Spigen Tough Armor Case since you said it would fit with it. When I installed the screen protector, the edges would snag on the case and pull it up causing it to bend and become damaged. I tried putting the phone in with the screen protector on every different way possible to see if maybe one way would work, but it unfortunately got pulled up each way I tried. Very disappointed with this.

Is there enough room for this iLoome (or any glass protector) to be installed in the Griffin Summit for the iPhone 6 Plus if the original protector is removed? If not, do you recommend some other protector? Love the videos btw!!

There might be but you would lose some of the dust protection.

I see that in the review you tried the screen protector with the apoyen tough armor. My question is do you think it will work with the apogee tough armor tech as well?
Thank you !
