Protection – Tougher than most glass screen protectors
In terms of protection, the glass portion of the Screenmate Max hold up well against keys, coins and knives though sand paper will do a number on it. However, the alloy portion of the case doesn’t hold up as well against scratching as keys and coins will easily scratch the edges. This was surprising to us because we’ve been using this screen protector for a month now and the alloy portion didn’t show any scratching until we purposely tried to.

Functionality – The curved edge makes all the difference
There are no issues with the Viewability of the iPhone as there isn’t any glare or diffusion. The oleophobic coating works well especially when compared to this Fusion self-healing screen protector and there are no issues when accessing your iPhone behind the ScreenMate Max. The curved edges minimizes the deadness you often find on other screen protectors along the edges.

Finding the perfect case for this screen protector
Finding the perfect iPhone case to use with the ScreenMate Max is tricky. Many of the slimmer iPhone cases such as the Apple Leather/Silicone case and Loopy case will not work as the edge of the case gets under the screen protector. You need a case that’s a bit thicker that has an edge that can go over the screen protector. It takes a bit of work (don’t cut your fingernails before doing this) but it works and you won’t suffer through having the case push the screen protector off your iPhone.
Cases that we’ve had success with this case include the Griffin Survivor Core, Thule Atmos X3, Incipio DualPro (sort of) and Spigen Tough Armor. Cases that didn’t work with the iLoome ScreenMate Max include the RhinoShield Crashguard and Incipio NGP.

That one I’m not sure. You’d have to check with iLoome to be sure.

Were you able to verify this? If so, what was the answer please?

I watched the video review and purchased this screen protector hoping to be able to use it with the Spigen Tough Armor Case since you said it would fit with it. When I installed the screen protector, the edges would snag on the case and pull it up causing it to bend and become damaged. I tried putting the phone in with the screen protector on every different way possible to see if maybe one way would work, but it unfortunately got pulled up each way I tried. Very disappointed with this.

Is there enough room for this iLoome (or any glass protector) to be installed in the Griffin Summit for the iPhone 6 Plus if the original protector is removed? If not, do you recommend some other protector? Love the videos btw!!

There might be but you would lose some of the dust protection.

I see that in the review you tried the screen protector with the apoyen tough armor. My question is do you think it will work with the apogee tough armor tech as well?
Thank you !
