This case will take care of your iPhone in almost any scenario. We’ve thrown this case 40ft in the air, we’ve tossed it into water and now, we know how strong the Gorilla Glass screen protector is. If you can afford it and aren’t looking for a waterproof case, this is the iPhone case for you.

Many of you ask what some of our favourite cases and the Lunatik Taktik Extreme is one of them. This is a beast of an iPhone case and will definitely protect your iPhone from accidental drops. We gave this case a score of 4.1 Eh’s out of 5.

Now we’re obligated to point out a couple weaknesses in this Lunatik Taktik review which is that the case will add a bit of bulk along the edge of the iPhone and it may a little of effort to install the iPhone case because of the screws. But the bulk comes in handy since this case can take a beating. We’ve thrown the iPhone case and smashed it with a hammer and our iPhone is still good to go.

The Lunatik Taktik Extreme isn’t meant for small hands. This is a really big case for your slim iPhone. With that being said, the bulk doesn’t get in the way but actually makes it really easy for your to use your iPhone. Installation isn’t the easiest as you have to install six screws so you’re not going to be taking your iPhone in/out of this case.

With all that being said, this case is incredibly well built. The materials feel great and will protect your iPhone. We can attest to the quality as we’ve thrown the Lunatik Taktik Extreme iPhone case and smashed the screen protector repeatedly with a hammer.[/toggle]

We’ve thrown the iPhone case 40ft in the air and the iPhone survived and we’ve taken a hammer and hammered the screen protector over and over until it broke. There isn’t another case that would take this much damage and survive.[/toggle]

The mute switch is toggled through a switch that goes through the case which is incredibly unique to Lunatik cases. The Gorilla Glass screen protector has no dead spots and is such a joy to use.
