Need a waterproof case for you iPhone? Here’s our top 5 Best waterproof iPhone 6 cases!
Waterproof iPhone cases are great for vacation but from our perspective may not be good for day-to-day usage only because every waterproof iPhone case that we’ve tested on our site will reduce the functionality of the iPhone. We’ve slowly realized that the cases listed below are more “All-Weather” cases because there are WAY BETTER cases for water-based vacations.Generally for every waterproof case, the touchscreen response will be less, sound will be muted slightly and any sort of conversation will result in people thinking that you’re taking a call in a box.
Everyone of these cases is shockproof and waterproof up to height of 6.6ft so your iPhone will be protected during any sort of water sports such as casual snorkelling and swimming. If you need something more, consider taking a look at the HitCase Pro as the case score is fairly low but it is an amazing product for people who want to take their iPhones even further as the HitCase Pro will allow you to go down to depths of 33ft, it’s GoPro mount compatible so you can mount it to your car, bike and even dog! The Optrix XD6 and ProShot case are also worth checking out. Find out the differences between these three “true” waterproof cases.
We’ve reviewed other waterproof iPhone cases so if you the one you are interested in isn’t in this list, there is a chance that we’ve reviewed it. We take pride in doing these reviews as everything that we review/film is based on our experience with the product. You won’t find us reading product descriptions and other types of marketing fluff on our site!

Yes! Please do a review on the x5. I’ve had so many problems with my Lifeproof nuud (the charging port breaks after a few months use) I’m in dire need of a reliable waterproof case.

Not trying to go over Aaron’s head and “review” the Atmos x5, but I just picked one up yesterday and so far it’s a pretty good case (in my opinion). Only problems I’ve run into so far is that 1. Everything sounds a bit tinny as far as sound coming from the speaker on the bottom of the phone and 2. There is a small gap between the screen and screen protector so you may have to press a little harder when typing. I can’t wait for Aaron to get his hands on one and review it fully to see what he thinks.

Hi Aaron!
I love your comparison tool and reviews. I’ve not found a single website or reviewer which have as thorough reviews and thorough testing as you do, nor a comparison tool as good as yours. But you have both, and for that I am sincerely greatful!
Enough rambling. I have an issue which I can think of no-one better suited for than you. I have seen all your reviews for waterproof cases and searched high and low on the web, but can’t find a single waterproof case which is reasonably good when it comes to sound quality, camera and flash, accessibility and which at the same time meet the following criteria:
1. Passes a drop-test (doesn’t crack open)
2. Has the ability to attach a threaded headphone adapter
3. Has the ability to attach a lanyard/wrist strap
There are several which meet criteria 1 & 2 or 1 & 3, but not all three. Is there a case which I perhaps have missed which fulfill these criteria? Or do you have any suggestions on work-arounds?
I have considered the Lifeproof case with the Lifeproofe Lifejacket, but found that it is too bulky to e.g. have in your ski jacket, and is therefore not an option.
I am really looking forward to your reply, even if it would be a disappointing “No solution found”.
Merry Christmas from Sweden!

Hey Aaron
have you done a review on the Pelican Marine Waterproof Case? The price may be a bit high but may be worth it

Any reason why the Ghostek Atomic 2.0 did not make this list?

Did you receive any comment about that? Why the Ghostek Atomic 2.0 is not on the list? Thanks!
