The UAG Trooper case is a big wallet case. It has more in common with the Spigen Wallet S then it does the Otterbox Strada or Tech 21 Evo Wallet. We say that because it can carry way more cards than the Strada or Evo Wallet. If you’re looking for a wallet case to keep your cards securely, consider the UAG Trooper. But be warned, it isn’t easy accessing anything that you put into the wallet portion.
For our Urban Armor Gear Trooper Review review, we’ve given this wallet case a score of 3.6 Eh’s out of 5. It scores lower than the other wallet cases because the wallet functionality is painful to use. The Trooper scores lower than the regular UAG which is #5 in our Top 10 case list for the Samsung Galaxy S7.
We do like the texture on the case (like every other UAG product that we’ve used). The texture definately improves the handling of the case which is necessary given the size of the trooper. The Trooper is drop-rated so if you need to drop your Galaxy S7 AND need a wallet case, the Trooper might be the one for you.
